Wow, this was such a beautiful manga. When I saw this, I knew I had to read it. It was Beauty and the Beast and MANGA. Such an amazing combination. I love manga and I love when they make a retelling of other known stories in a manga. Such as ‘Grimms manga’.
I was a little surprised when I read it because while it followed the story pretty well, were there some things I was 100% sure wasn’t in the old Disney movie. Such as the scene where they go to Paria through a book. But a little researching, after I had read the manga, I found out it was because the manga follows the MOVIE’s story to a T. I haven’t seen the movie yet, so I didn’t know that. I had known that i would probably have waited with reading this. But I’m sure it was my own fault and I must have overlooked that information.
This Manga is from Belle’s POV. So there are only the scenes in the movie, that Belle herself were in and the second volume is then from The Beast’s POV. A thing you wouldn’t think you could do. I didn’t know that Disney did things like this, so I’m really happy. I can’t wait to read the second volume.
I can totally recommend this to everyone. Especially to them who already has seen the movie… I mean you should totally see the movie before reading this, don’t be stupid like me.

Thank you for reading and have a nice day! ♥
